Hip resurfacing is a great altenative for active adults with hip pain.
If you're experiencing regular and intense pain but don't want the lifestyle limitations impossed by a traditional hip replacement, you should learn more about hip resurfacing, today's most promising new technology for easing hip pain while allowing affected adults to maintain an active life.
Hip resurfacing procedures are on the rise because of the bone-conserving nature of the procedure which provides more stability and range of movement than a traditional total hip replacement. Hip resurfacing is most appropriate for active people with good bone quality who are suffering the agony resulting from osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.
Robert Koch, MD, and Michael Repine, MD have received the specialized training needed to become the first local surgeons certified to perform Cormet Hip Resurfacing. Dr. Repine is also trained in the Birmingham hip resurfacing procedure.
To learn if hip resurfacing might be for you, or to schedule an appointment with Dr. Koch, or Dr. Repine please contact Boulder Medical Center today at 303-440-3036.

Fraxel Laser Treatment
Results you can see and feel.
You've heard about it and now it's here. Dr. Hong, and physician assistants Kim Guthke and Angie Riddleberger are proud to offer Fraxel(TM) Laser Treatment, the latest beauty breakthrough to restore aging and sun-damaged skin - pixel by pixel, spot by spot. The Fraxel laser is the only device specially designed to resurface a fraction of the skin at a time without breaking its protective outer barrier. This unique approach allows for dramatic cosmetic improvement without the redness, downtime and discomfort of traditional ablative techniques. The new Fraxel laser technology is ideal for adults with mild to moderate wrinkles around the eyes, age spots, melasma and other skin discolorations. In fact, it is so gentle it can be used on the neck, chest and hands. After treatment, your skin will feel softer, smoother and toned, resulting in a healthy, vibrant and more youthful appearance.
Please call the Dermatology office at 303-440-3013 for a consultation or more information about the new Fraxel laser in Boulder County.
