Karen M. Andrews, M.D. - Allergy & Clinical Immunology, Internal Medicine

Dr. Karen Andrews joined the Boulder Medical Center in 2005 as the adult and pediatric Allergy and Immunology specialist.

She grew up in Virginia close to Washington, DC. Karen and her husband both love the outdoors and stay physically active. They enjoy hiking, camping, bird watching, nature photography, and exploring new places. Karen’s hobbies include the piano, cooking, gardening, yoga, and horseback riding.

MEDICAL SPECIALTY AND TRAINING

Dr. Andrews attended the College of William & Mary in Virginia where she received her undergraduate degree in Biology. Dr. Andrews earned her medical degree from Loyola University in Chicago, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. In 2005, Dr. Andrews completed a fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the National Jewish Medical and Research Center in Denver, Colorado.

Dr. Andrews is board certified in both Internal Medicine and in Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Dr. Andrews is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the Colorado Allergy Society, Colorado Medical Society, the American College of Physicians and the Boulder County Medical Society.

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Andrews, please call 303-440-3083. Boulder Medical Center's office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, specific hours for each physician may vary.

In case of an emergency Dr. Andrews or one of her colleagues in the Internal Medicine department can be reached 24 hours a day by calling 303-440-3083. For after hours pediatric patients an on call physician in the Pediatric department can be reached by calling 303-938-4700.
